The Address Register Information System (ARIS) of the State Committee on Property Issues has been integrated into the E-government portal with the aim of ensuring the tasks set forth in Decree No.18 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on approval of “Regulations for information system ensuring maintenance of the Address Register in the Republic of Azerbaijan” dated November 1, 2013.

Spatial data of Baku districts, including administrative-territorial units, postal codes, building polygons, land parcels, and digital maps of road and street network have been integrated into the ARIS.  According to graphic data included in the textual and graphical databases of the ARIS, more than 35000 entries on real estate units located in 175 streets in Baku city and more than 70000 assigned internal addresses have been included in the system. This information system will increase the efficiency in the provision of first medical aid, emergency,  postal and other services. The system will also help the user find the required address more quickly without wasting time.

Note that the main purpose of the creation of this system is determination of information systems, integration of the ARIS and other government bodies and implementation of data exchange.

Data on addresses of real estate units collected in the ARIS are also available to other government bodies whose services have been integrated into the E-government portal. In this case, along with an effective and practical use of automated information support of the ARIS, the information security will also be provided.
