PRESS RELEASE on integration of service “Acceptance of e-complaint made to Boards of Appeal” into E-government portal

The services on the Board of Appeal, established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 3, 2016, have been made online by the Data Processing Center (DPC) of the  Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT).The  service “Acceptance of e-complaint made to Boards of Appeal” has been integrated into the E-government portal.

Today, the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, which is the operator of the E- government portal, has introduced the new e-service to the public.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, head of the Secretariat of the Board of Appeal under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yashar Ibrahimov highly appreciated the integration of the new electronic service into the E-government portal (e-gov.az). According to him, the system will further facilitate the possibility of applying to Boards of Appeal by entrepreneurs.

Then speaking at the event Director of Data Processing Center Elnar Asadov spoke about successful activities of the E-government portal. According to him, 423 electronic services of different state bodies have been integrated into the portal so far. The services on the portal were used  a total of over 30 million times, including 8 million times in the first six months of 2016 .

Speaking of the importance of the service “Acceptance of e-complaint made to Boards of Appeal”,  Elnar Asadov  said 118 state bodies will be connected to the system, including Board of Appeal under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Then, training on electronic services was conducted for the representatives of central and local executive bodies by experts of the ministry at the E-Government Education and Training Center, where the event took place.

The service “Acceptance of e-complaint made to Boards of Appeal” will allow individuals and legal entities engaged in business activities to apply to central and local executive bodies electronically and promptly.

The service which is of great importance for businesses, will allow complainants to easily appeal to the state bodies, submit documents in electronic form, obtain information on consideration of appeal. The citizen using the service will also be able to track the information on execution status of the appeal sent and get the decision made on the appeal in electronic form.
