The latest innovations in the sphere of telecommunications and information technologies will be exhibited at the International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference BakuTel-2016. The exhibition is organized by company Iteca Caspian with the support of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MCHT). The opening ceremony of the exhibition will take place at Baku Expo Center on November 29. The exhibition will run until December 2.The Ministry of Communications and High Technologies has already approved the Action Plan of the exhibition.
Progressive ideas and projects will be presented, important discussions will be held on the development of the sector at the exhibition which will serve as a platform for demonstrating all the achievements of the telecommunications and information technologies sector. The exhibition is of great importance for specialists, experts, and industry professionals of many countries in terms of establishing new business relationships.
The event will be attended by representatives of leading ICT companies, mobile network operators, internet providers, system integrators and distributors of well-known brands.
In addition to traditional sectors such as communications, networking, digital solutions for businesses, IT infrastructure and services, data processing, the exhibition will also feature the latest innovations on audio-video systems, banking technologies, satellite communications, as well as TV and radio broadcasting systems.
Presentations of such projects as “Audio library for visually impaired children” and “Digitalization of museums” will be made within the exhibition.
A number of conferences and forums will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
Moreover, during the working days of the exhibition, the “Agreement on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies between the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation”, and the “Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of E-government between the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and Information of Singapore” will be signed.
Besides, the 4th meeting of the High-Level Working Group on the Development of Information Society of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC), the first meeting of the Working Group on the Development of ICT of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the Ministerial Meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the 2nd British - Azerbaijani Forum on High Technologies and the 4th Regional Forum on Internet Governance will be held within the Exhibition and Conference BakuTel-2016.
