TV program “E-government” goes on air

Ictimai TV (Public Television) Channel will present an educational program in this field every Monday.


A new television program called “E-government” was launched. The TV program, launched on Ictimai TV Channel for the first time on October 30, will be aired every Monday at 22:00.

The purpose of the program is to educate viewers about the advantages of “E-government” for citizens, electronic services, rules for their use, etc.

The guests of the first “E-government” TV program were Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications  and High Technologies Elmir Velizade, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Idris Isayev and MP Tahir Mirkishili.  

Elmir Velizade  gave details of e-government  building in the country, stating that Azerbaijan is one of those countries where e-government  has been  developed. It was noted that the fully developed e-government infrastructure in the country is capable to satisfy growing demand. In recent years, the number of electronic services and electronic signature users has significantly increased. Elmir Velizade said that government agencies are interested in providing electronic services and the services that population needs most become available online on a regular basis. 

Other guests also noted that the development of e-government building in the country will further develop and serve to improve the welfare of citizens.
