An information session on the grant competition for funding NGO projects in 2020 held jointly by the Council on State Support to NGOs under the Auspices of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and E-GOV Development Center subordinate to the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was attended by representatives of both institutions, as well as representatives of NGOs and the media.

During the information session, all NGO representatives were informed about the topics, conditions, and rules of the grant competition held jointly by the Council and E-GOV Development Center. It was noted that projects will be accepted from NGOs on topics as “Informing the population of the regions in the field of e-services, raising awareness about the use and security of these services, as well as the benefits of using e-services”, “Formation and improvement of journalists working in the field of e-government, e-services, digital solutions for public awareness”, and “Initiatives to conduct competitions and contests among higher education institutions on the theme of “Digital Government Solutions”.

At the event, it was emphasized that for the effective implementation of projects, NGOs should participate in a grant competition that will allow them to better realize their potential and specialization.

The information session also provided detailed information about “SALIS”- the System for Fast Coordination and Project Management that combines e-services of the Council.

At the end of the event, representatives of the Council and the E-GOV Development Center answered all questions of NGO representatives.
