The next meeting of the Executive Group on e-Government was held in the Shamakhi region on March 16.

The event was organized by the E-GOV Development Center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Representatives of government agencies, as well as other relevant persons, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the deputy chairman of the State Agency, head of the Executive Group on e-Government Jeyhun Salmanov spoke about challenges facing the digital government ecosystem, steps taken in this direction, and vision for the future, state information systems, and service design standards, creating a data-based service concept, personnel training in the field of ICT and on other issues.

Fariz Jafarov, director of the E-GOV Development Center, made a presentation on the e-government ecosystem, the Center's strategic goals, recent projects, application of standards and risk analysis of these projects, growth dynamics of projects in 2021, and plans for the future.

The event also included the organization of a single register of state information resources, systems, and electronic services, tactical steps to improve the country's position in the e-Government Development Index, restructuring of existing information in the database of state information systems, “ASAN Bridge” National Information Exchange System, cybersecurity subgroup report and an extensive exchange of views took place.
