Information on Azerbaijan's national e-participation policy and strategy, as well as projects implemented by the Center for E-GOV Development Center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was published in a report prepared by the United Nations.

The report was prepared with reference to the workshop held on January 10-11 this year. Fariz Jafarov, director of the E-GOV Development Center (EGDC) of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke at the workshop, which was attended by representatives from 15 countries, about the work done to ensure e-participation in Azerbaijan, as well as ongoing projects.

The report says that Azerbaijan is based on two main documents in this direction, including the Strategic Road Map for the development of telecommunications and information technologies in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the strategic plan of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan for 2022-2024. It was noted that Azerbaijan has the experience to share in the field of application.

The report spoke about the "ASAN Login" Single Sign-On System, "myGov" personal account-based e-government portal, "ASAN appeal" mobile application created for citizens' appeals.

The report mentions the "Towards Digital Journalism" program implemented by EGDC.

It was mentioned that the project is an awareness-raising program aimed at raising digital literacy.

The report also mentions the “Good Governance for Local Development” program (rih.gov.az). It was noted that the program serves the digital development of the region.

Along with Azerbaijan, the report reflects the experience of Denmark, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Singapore, Japan, and other countries that are leaders in the UN e-Government Development Index.

It is very gratifying for our country that Azerbaijan's experience in the field of e-government is being studied by global organizations such as the United Nations and presented along with the experience of developed countries in this field.
