Memorandums of cooperation signed within Bakutel-2016

A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation  between  the Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies  and managing company   “AGAT - Control Systems” OJSC of  the “Geoinformation  Control Systems Holding “ of Belarus was signed within the framework of Azerbaijan  International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference   Bakutel 2016.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by First Deputy Director Dmitry Goryachko on behalf of AGAT-Control Systems OJSC of Belarus and Director Elnar Asadov on behalf of Data Processing Centre of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The document provides for the strengthening and development of cooperation between the two organizations  in the field of innovative technologies  and training of personnel. Under this document, which is valid for five years, the Parties will pull together efforts to create a necessary infrastructure for training of personnel, develop and implement promising joint innovative  projects, develop automated control systems, etc.

A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Scıentıfıc and Technologıcal Research Councıl of Turkey Informatıcs and Informatıon Securıty Hıgh Technology Research Center (TÜBİTAK BİLGEM) and Air Electronıcs Industry and Trade Inc. (HAVELSAN).

Under the document,  which shall remain in force for three (3) years, Turkey’s state-owned companies  HAVELSAN  and TÜBİTAK BİLGEM express desire to cooperate for the  development of the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) of the Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Communications  and High  Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Taking into account their areas of activity, the Parties came to a consensus on the issue of working more efficiently within the projects  by combining their opportunities and skills.

The projects carried out in the framework of this memorandum, HAVELSAN and TÜBİTAK BİLGEM act as Consortium Partners, DPC - as a Customer. 

Note that prospects of cooperation were also discussed with participating in the exhibition Deputy Minister of Information Technology and Communications  of Moldova  Mr. Vitaly Ciolac.
