Workshop on e-government held for employees of Ministry of Education

Detailed information was provided on E-government portal, e-services and e- signature at the workshop held for the employees of the Ministry of Education on June 30.

Delivering an opening speech at the event, deputy head of the Department for Informatization of Education System Orkhan Abbasov spoke about the role of electronic services in today’s world.

The first session of the workshop was dedicated to the reforms implemented in the field of electronic government, as a result of these reforms the e-services available on the portal and   government agencies’ websites, as well as the mobile version of the portal. A broad presentation was also made on the role of the e-signature in document exchange and current area of application.

Programmer-engineer of the Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ruslan Mursalov explained the expected technical standards when integrating services into the portal, spoke in detail on how to store personal data on the subschema and the privacy policy taken into account.

In the second session, the portal was reviewed from the user point of view, registration for access to the E-government portal, access ways, service groups, most frequently used services and secondary functionality were visually demonstrated.

The workshop ended with Q & A session and discussions.

It should be noted that at present 450 electronic services are provided to the users through the E-government portal (www.e-gov.az).
