The contest “Electronic Government for Youth” started on November 10.

The main objective of the contest is to promote the use of electronic government solutions among young people and educate them on the electronic  government. The contest promotes the introduction of the E-government portal -  www.e-gov.az  to a wide  audience of young people  and  extends  opportunities  for the use of electronic government solutions.

The contest is held in four categories:

• The best youth organization on e-government promotion;

• The best individual in promoting electronic government;

• The best organization in promoting e-government solutions among youth in region;

• The best proposal on e-government services and development of e-government portal-  www.e-gov.az;

The contest is supported by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a number of leading youth organizations. The contest is organized by the E-Government Training and Education Center and Data Processing Center. The winners will be announced at the conference “Electronic Government for Youth” on December 26 and will be awarded valuable gifts from organizers.
