Within the framework of the “Career Week” organized at ADA University (Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy), the students of this higher education institution were informed in detail about the Electronic Government portal.

The specialists of the Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies shared their experiences with the students studying at the University in the speciality Information Technologies.

Speaking on the e-government infrastructure, Ruslan Mursalov, an expert at the Data Processing Center, said the Electronic Government portal simplifies the work of citizens, individuals and businesses. It was noted that some useful electronic services related to labor activity are now available on the portal. It includes reference documents on proof of employment, employee’s social insurance payments and services on labor notifications.

The expert also stressed the importance of using this system by young people. Because the Electronic Government portal is a public technological tool and further improvement of this tool depends directly on social demand.
