Acceptance of the application and documents for issuance of the certificate of recognition of the certificate (diploma) by the State Maritime Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Issue of a certificate of recognition of diplomas to foreigners and stateless persons by the State Maritime Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, allowing the recipients to work on ships of the transport fleet of the Republic of Azerbaijan (except warships) in accordance with the requirements of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (DSC-78).

A citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan :

      Document submission forms :

      - Original or copy of the document

    • The name of the document :

      A reasoned application containing the need to attract foreigners and stateless persons to work as crew members on ships sailing under the national flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan

      Document submission forms :

      - Original or copy of the document

    • The name of the document :

      Relevant document from the issuing State confirming that documents have been issued to the seafarer in accordance with the requirements of the International Convention on Training, Certification and Watchkeeping.

      Extract from the state ship register for ships intended for the employment of foreigners and stateless persons

    • The name of the document :

      Draft of the employment contract concluded in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and international treaties to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party

      Identity card of a stateless person to be used within the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan

      A medical certificate confirming that the health status of the foreigners and stateless persons to be employed allows them to hold the relevant position
